Sep 01, 2021 - Installing a Mr Cool mini-split heat pump air conditioner

We set high temperature records for the summer of 2021. With extremes like this becoming more common, we decided to install a Mr Cool mini-split heat pump so we could finally have some air conditioning. Of course, the heat wave was over by the time I got it installed, so we have used it to replace most of our heating needs more than we did for air conditioning. Overall we have been quite impressed. It is quiet, provides a steady even heat, and has made a noticeable reduction in our electric bill. It has worked well even when the outdoor temps have been down in the 20's.
